Psychological Assessment and Therapy

Our psychology services provide a supportive and practical space for children, young people and adults who are experiencing emotional, behavioural or everyday challenges.

We understand that reaching out for psychological support isn't always easy. We take the time to listen, understand what's happening and work with you to identify what would be most helpful. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, goals and circumstances rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our focus is on helping you understand yourself and what you're experiencing, while developing practical strategies that can make a real difference in everyday life.

Our psychology services may include:

  • Psychological assessment and reporting

  • Cognitive and adaptive functioning assessments

  • Individual psychological therapy

  • Support with anxiety, stress and mood

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Support with behavioural and emotional difficulties

  • Trauma-informed therapy

  • Support through adjustment and significant life changes

  • Support with relationships and everyday challenges

  • Practical strategies to build confidence and manage difficult situations

Our psychologists draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT and other approaches where appropriate. We choose an approach based on the person, rather than expecting the person to fit the approach.

Appointments can be provided face-to-face or via telehealth, depending on your needs and what is most appropriate for the service.

Our aim is to provide psychology that feels practical, respectful and relevant to your everyday life — giving you a safe space to talk, while also helping you develop tools and strategies that you can take with you beyond the therapy room.
